The Other guys VS Cop Out

Il 2010 e' stato anche segnato dall'ritorno sul grande schermo dei film polizieschi conditi da tanta comicita'. Il primo ad uscire nei cinema e' stato Cop Out, con Bruce Willis e un esilarante  Tracy Morgan (SNL), un piccolo ruolo lo ha trovato pure Seann Willam Scott (Road Trip, American Pie).  Mi stupisce il nome del regista, niente di meno che il geniale Kevin Smith, il che rende la pellicola, almeno a mio avviso, ancora piu' speciale. In questi giorni invece possiamo vedere nei cinema una altra commedia poliziesca The Other Guys, con Mark Wahlberg e Will Ferrel, nel film ha partecipato anche Samuel L. Jackson. Il regista del film e' stato Adam McKay, che ha diretto la maggior parte dei film interpretati da Will Ferrel, e bisogna dargli atto che il binomio funziona molto bene.

Le due pellicole sono essenzialmente uguali, ovvero la storia di due polizzioti che cercano di risolvere un caso. Trafficanti di droga messicani per Cop Out, frode bancaria per The Other Guys. Comunque non finisce qui, entrambe le pellicole sono piene di azione, storie che si intrecciano (ma mai troppo complicate).  Comunque, anche se le due pellicole sono essenzialmente uguali, lo stile di comicita' e' completamente diverso. La comicita' in The Other Guys e' fredda e molto ˝sottile˝ mentre in Cop Out e' vivace e diretta.  Le due pellicole mi ricordano tanto i bei tempi di Arma Letale e 48 Ore, quando tutto eccitato fissavo lo schermo della televisione e gridavo: ˝Si dai, spaccagli il muso˝.

Film da vedere assolutamente, se si vuol ridere per circa un ora e mezza. Will Ferrel anche questa volta, come gia in passato, ha dimostrato di essere un dei migliori in quanto a comicita' nei film. Invece Mark Wahlberg mi ha un po deluso, mi sembrava un po troppo forzato, e non sono riuscito a capire se era un effeto desiderato  il suo tipo di recitazione, o e' semplicmente risultato cosi. Non lo so, il suo ruolo mi ha lasciato un po perplesso. Ma nel complesso il film e' risultato godibile, con una comicita' fredda, non e' il solito tipo di comicita' a cui ci ha abituato American Pie e simili. 

 

Cop Out

Guardando il film mi sono sbellicato dalle risate, sopratutto la prima parte. Guardare l'interrogatorio fatto da Tracy Morgan, mentre cita frasi tratte dai film piu' vari, e' stato esilarante. Bruce Willis e' il Bruce Willis di sempre, quindi nulla di nuovo. 

Perche' Cop Out ha il piu'? Perche' e il primo action comedy (poliziesco) di Kevin Smith, e secondo me se l'e' cavata molto bene.

2010 we’ve seen the comeback to the big screen of police action comedy. The first to come out in cinemas was Cop-Out, with Bruce Willis and a hilarious Tracy Morgan (SNL), a small role was played also by Seann Willam Scott (Road Trip, American Pie) and he did an exellent job. It amazes me the name of the director is nothing less than the brilliant Kevin Smith, at least in my opinion. These days, however we can see in cinemas the other police comedy The Other Guys, with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, the film was also starring Samuel L. Jackson, with a small role. The film's director is Adam McKay, who directed most of movies starring Will Ferrel, and you have to give him acknowledge that the combination works very well.
The two films are essentially the same, the story of two detectives trying to solve a case. Mexican drug traffickers to Cop Out, bank fraud for The Other Guys. However, both films are full of action, stories that are intertwined (but not too complicated). However, even though the two films are essentially the same, the style of comedy is completely different. The comedy style in The Other Guys is cold and very ˝thin˝, while Cop Out it’s lively and direct. Two films came to my mind while I was watching this movies,  Lethal Weapon and 48 Hours, and remembered my of the good old times when all excited I was watching the television and I was shouting to the screen: ˝ Yeah, come ‘on break his nose ˝.

The Other Guy

 The movie is worth of seeing it, if you want to laugh for about an hour and a half. Will Ferrell once again, as in the past, has proven to be one of the best in terms of comedy 'in the movies. Instead, Mark Wahlberg, is a little bit disappointing in the movie, it seemed a bit too forced, and I could not tell if it was wanted his kind of acting, o 'so simple results. I do not know, its role has left me a bit puzzled. But overall the film enjoyable, not 'the usual kind of comedy' to which we have become accustomed American Pie and others.

Cop Out
RATING 6.5+
During the movie I almost die laughing, especially the first part. Watching the interview done by Tracy Morgan, as he quotes phrases from popular film was hilarious. Bruce Willis is the Bruce Willis That we already know, so nothing new.
Why 'Cop-Out has the most'? Because is the first police action comedy by Kevin Smith, and in my opinion he did very well.
