Riuscira' Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) a provare a suo suocero Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) di essere pronto per prendere in mano le redini della famiglia? Lo vedremo in questa esilarante commedia, che e' il terzo capitolo della serie Meet The Fockers. In questo capitolo la storia si accentrera sulla famiglia adesso ampliata di Greg e Pamela Byrnes-Focker interpretata da Teri Polo. Posso solo presuporre che non sia facile avere come suocero un ex-agente della CIA, ed e' per questo (e anche perche' abbiamo visto come sono andati i precedenti due capitoli) che posso asserire con tranquillita' che non tutto andra per il verso giusto.
Il cast del film e' stellare, che per una commedia come questa non e da poco. Da dove cominciare, Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Harvey Keitel, Teri Polo, Barbara Streisand...Per quanto riguarda Dustin Hoffman, anche lui fa parte del cast ma solo in 6 scene, in quanto sono sorti dei problemi tra lui e la casa di produzione ovvero la Universal. A quanto pare non gli e' piaciuta' la sceneggiatura e anche il fatto che il regista dei primi due capitoli Jay Roach sia stato sostiuito da Paul Weitz (In Good Company, About a Boy).
Il film e' in uscita' natale negli USA in Europa sbarchera entro la fine di dicembre.
Un po' sinceramente sono dispiaciuto che Dustin Hoffman e Robert De Niro si siano ridotti a fare film del genere. Questo non vuol dire che il film sia mal fatto o che non valga niente, e solamente che se guardo indietro ai lavori svolti da loro due (The Godfather, Taxi Driver, Rainman, All the President Man...), beh queste ˝commedie˝ degli ultimi tempi gli svalutano un attimino.

We will see in this hilarious comedy, the third installment of Meet The Fockers. In this chapter the story will focus on the now expanded family of Greg and Pamela Byrnes - Focker, played by Teri Polo. I can only presuppose that it is not easy to have a father in law that was an ex-CIA agent, and because of this (and also because' we saw how went the previous two chapters) I can say in peace that not everything will go on right.
The cast of the film is fabulous, and for comedy like this is not bad. Where to start, Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Harvey Keitel, Teri Polo, Barbara Streisand ...
As for Dustin Hoffman, who was also part of the cast, but only in 6 scenes, the problems arose between him and the Universal studios. Apparently he didn’t ˝liked˝ the script and the fact that director Jay Roach, director of the first two chapters has been replaced, by Paul Weitz (In Good Company, About a Boy).
The movie starts on Christmas in the USA and will arrive in Europe by the end of December.
I’m sincerely a little bit sorry that Dustin Hoffman and Robert De Niro are being reduced to make films like that. This does not mean that the film is poorly done or not worth anything, but if I look back to the work carried out by the two of them (The Godfather, Taxi Driver, Rainman, All The President Man...), well this ˝ comedies ˝ of recent times devalue a moment.
