Cinema Review: Nov 23, 2010

The Crow - Il Corvo

It was for a while in the air that there are preparing a re-make of Brendon Lee’s Crow, and now they have announced it. In 2011, we will have a chance to see the re-make of the Crow, even if is not yet know whether it will be a prequel or a sequel to the original. Because the flick is still in pre-production.
For now we only know that the movie will be directed by Stephen Norrington that already directed movie such Blade, Alien, Alien 3 and other movies more' or less known.

There are rumors that want Mark Wahlberg into the cast, but the rumors were already denied by the same Wahlberg and from the movie director. Whatever happens we have to wait next year to see how it goes.

BRANDON LEE FINAL INTERVIEW

E' da un po che era nell'aria, ovvero che stanno preparando un re.make del Corvo di Brendon Lee. Ed ecco che lo hanno anche annunciato. Nel 2011 avremo la possibilita di vedere il Corvo anche se non si sa ancora se sara' un prequel o un sequel dell'originale, visto che il film e' ancora in pre-produzione.

Per adesso si sa che a dirigere il film sara' Stephen Norrington regista di Blade, Alien, Alien 3 ed altri film piu' o meno noti.

Ci sono voci di corridoio che vogliono Mark Wahlberg nella parte da protagonista, voci pero' gia smentite dallo stesso Wahlberg e dal regista. Comunque vada bisognera aspettare l'anno prossimo, per vedere come andra.

After seeing him in the role of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg (Valkyrie) and those disgraced spy agent Roy Miller (Knight and Day), Tom Cruise will return to assume the role of super spy Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible 4 - Ghost Protocol.

No more 'special effects by John Woo (MI-2) and J.J. Ambras (MI-3), but a real cartoon from Brad Bird. In fact, the director of this fourth episode, is Brad Bird ‘far more' known for directing cartoons such as Ratatouille, The Incredibles, and two episodes of The Simpsons in early ‘90. The budget for this film is about 140 million U.S. dollars which means that the film must' necessarily be explosive. The flick will be presented in December 2011

The other actors of the cast are Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, 28 weeks later), the British comedian Simon Pegg (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) and Paula Patton (Deja Vu, Hitch).

How the would world seem if the lawyers had the office in a car?

The Lincoln Lawyer is the story of Mickey Haller, played by Matthew McConaughey (Sahara, U-571), a Los Angeles lawyer that takes care of his business from the rear seat of his Lincoln.
I like this story, no luxury offices but mafia-style car, to conduct his business. It seems more 'an episode of the Sopranos than a film about lawyers. But is also' true that often mobsters and lawyers are the same thing.

The movie is directed by Brad Furman, which until now only had direct short flicks, and this is his first full movie and to tell the truth, it’s seems that he have done a good job. The cast is rich, other performers are:
Marisa Tomei (The Wrestler, What Women Want), John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet), William H. Macy (Jurrasic Park, Magnolia)

Come sembrerebbe il mondo se gli avvocati avessero l'ufficio nella propria macchina?

The Lincoln Lawyer e' la storia di Mickey Haller, interpretato da Matthew McConaughey (Sahara, U-571), avvocato di Los Angeles che conduce il proprio lavoro dal sedile della sua Lincoln.

Mi piace questa storia, niente uffici di lusso ma una Lincoln stile mafioso, per condurre i propri affari. Sembra piu' una puntata dei Soprano che un film sugli avvocati. E' anche pero' vero che spesso e voletieri mafia e avvocati sono la stessa cosa.

Il film e' diretto da Brad Furman, che fino ad oggi a diretto solo cortometraggi, quindi e' al suo primo film e per dire la verita' sembra abbia fatto un buon lavoro. Il cast e bello ricco, altri interpreti sono:
