In an interview for Vanity Fair, Johnny Depp admits that most of his characters seem taken out of a gay club. As it explains, Disney panicked after they saw the first episode of Pirates of the Caribbean. When they saw the movie, they asked if they wanted Capt. Jack Sparrow homosexual or not. Depp. ˝And so”, says Depp, “I actually told this to Disney exec, ‘But didn’t you know that all my characters are gay?’”
˝However is all a joke˝ continues Depp. But I must' recognize that Johnny in his acting career played many characters, and many of them were a little bit ambiguous.
- Edward Scissorhands - today we would call it very ‘emo’.
- Ed Wood - where he plays a film producer and film director known for he liked to wear women's clothes
- Sleepy Hollow - where he plays Ichabod Crane, forensic experts, with methods far ahead of its time, and that does not care for Christina Ricci's jumping around him.

- Willy Wonka - he plays the genius of chocolate, all prissy, with his red dress and shiny silk gloves.
- Sweeny Todd - suffice to say that hair stylist
- Alice in Wonderland - here plays the Mad Hatter and he is clearly wearing eyebrow.
Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but most of the movies' was directed by Tim Burton.
Gay characters or not, the characters performed by Johnny Depp, has always been amazing, so I couldn’t care less. However for most of the interview they spoke about his career and future project.

Willy Wonka – kjer igra genija čokolade, vse lepo naličen, s svojo rdečo obleko in bleščečimi svilenimi rokavicami.

Alice v Čudežni deželi - tukaj igra Mad Hatter in je očitno da nosi umetne obrvi.
Mogoče je zgolj naključje, vendar je večino filmov režiral Tim Burton.
Gay interpretacije ali ne, vloge ki jih zaigral Johnny Depp, so bile vedno enkratne, tako da me ne zanima ali zgledajo homoseksualne ali ne.
Za večino intervjuja pa so govorili o njegovi karieri in naslednjimi projekti.

˝Comunque e' tutto uno scherzo˝ continua Depp, bisogna pero' riconoscere che Johnny nella sua carriera di attore ha interpretato tanti personaggi, e molti di quest se non altro sono stati un po ambigui.
Edward Scissorhands – oggi lo definiremmo molto emo.
Ed Wood – dove interpreta un produttore e regista cinematografico noto per il fotto che gli piaceva indossare vestiti da donna
Sleppy Hollow – dove interpreta Ichabod Crane, esperto forensico, con metodi di molto avanti per i suoi tempi, e che non gli importa nulla quando Christina Ricci gli saltella intorno.
Willy Wonka – dove interpreta il genio del cioccolato, tutto perfettino, col suo vestitino rosa e guanti in seta luccicante.
Sweeny Todd – basti dire che fa il parrucchiere
Alice in Wonderland – qui interpreta il cappellaio matto e le extensions sopracigliari sono molto evidenti.
Forse sara' solo un caso, ma la maggior parte dei film e' stata diretta da Tim Burton.
Personaggi Gay o meno, i personaggi interpretati da Johnny Depp sono sempre stati stupefacenti, quindi non me ne potrebbe fregare di meno comunque per la maggior parte dell'intervista si e' parlato della cariera di Depp e del suo futuro.. L'intervista' per la VF e' stata scritta da Patty Smith.
