Dal regista vincitore di due premi Oscar Paul Haggis (Crash, Casino Royale), ecco un nuovo e avvincente film, The Next Three Days.
Il protagonista del film e' interpretato da Russel Crowe, che ritorna sul grande schermo dopo aver vestito i panni di Robin Hood. Altri interpreti piu' o meno noti sono Liam Neeson (Star Wars, Shindler List, Batman Begins), Elizabeth Banks ( Spider Man, Zack and Miri Make a Porno) e nome molto interessante del cast RZA (rapper), che pero' ha gia' parecchi film alle spalle (Blade, Bulworth).
La trama del film e' essentialmente la seguente: la moglie di John Brennan (R. Crowe) viene accusata di omicidio ed e cosi che la tranquilla vita di una famiglia diventa un inferno.
The Next Three Days e' il remake di un film francese del 2008, Anything for Her (Pour Elle). Pellicola scritta e diretta da Fred Cavaye, che comunque a sceneggiato anche questo film.
Il film uscira nelle sale cinematografiche il 19 novembre.

The main character is performed by Russell Crowe, who returns to the big screen the role of Robin Hood. Other more 'or less known actors are Liam Neeson (Star Wars, Shindler List, Batman Begins), Elizabeth Banks (Spider Man, Zack and Miri Make a Porno) and a very interesting actor RZA (rapper), but he has already behind him several movies (Blade, Bulworth).
The plot is essentially this one here: the wife of John Brennan (R. Crowe) is accused of murder and that's how a normal family life becomes a living hell.
The Next Three Days is the remake of a French film of 2008, Anything for Her. The Movie was written and directed by Fred Cavaye, he has also scripted this movie anyway.
Ecco un altro telefilm dal quale sono rimasto affascinato, Boardwalk Empire. Boardwalk Empire racconta la storia di Nucky Thompson, l'indiscusso boss di Atlantic City dove rappresenta sia il potere politico sia quello malavitoso.
La serie televisiva e' stata scritta da Terence Winter, lo stesso Terence Winter che a scritto una delle serie televisive piu' acclamate degli ultimi anni, i Soprano. Altri nomi eccelenti di Boardwalk Empire sono Mark Wahlberg produttore della serie e sopratutto Martin Scorsese produttore nonche' regista del primo episodio della serie. Non sono da meno anche i nomi del cast, Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt, Michael Shannon, Aleksa Palladino e altri piu' o meno noti.
La serie essenzialmente si basa su fatti realmente accaduti ad Atlantic City durante il proibizionismo. Ci sono pero' certe discrepanze storice e personaggi inventati, ma come ha spiegato Terence Winter, sono minime e sono state inserite solo per dare piu' suspance alla serie. E forse anche per allungarla un po aggiungerei io. Enoch ¨Nucky˝ Thompson e' in realta' Enoch L. Johnson politico e gangster di Atlantc City degli anni '20. Ci sono poi anche un giovane Al Capone e Lucky Luciano, John ˝Papa Johnny˝ Torrio... Insomma sono presenti tutti i piu' grandi gangster Americani di tutti i tempi.
Curiosita'
La Atlantic City degli anni '20 e' stata ricreata su un set a Brooklyn (New York), e si dice che Martin Scorsese sia stato cosi maniacale nei particolari, che le panchine hanno le stesse misure di quelle originale del 1920.

Here's another show from which I was fascinated, Boardwalk Empire. Boardwalk Empire tells the story of Nucky Thompson, the undisputed boss of Atlantic City.
The television series is written by Terence Winter, the same Terence Winter that wrote one of the television most acclaimed series' in recent years, the Soprano. Other excellent names of Boardwalk Empire series are producer Mark Wahlberg and Martin Scorsese producer and above all director of the first episode. Not to be outdone even the names of the cast are exellent, Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt, Michael Shannon, Aleksa Palladino, and other more 'or less known.
The series is essentially based on real events in Atlantic City during Prohibition. There is, however, 'certain discrepancies in the historical and fictional characters, but as explained Terence Winter, are minimal and have been included only to give more suspense to the series. And maybe, I would add, a bit to lengthen it. Enoch ¨Nucky˝ Thompson is actually Enoch L. Johnson Atlantic City political and gangster of the '20s. There are also a young Al Capone and Lucky Luciano, John ˝ Papa’ Johnny˝ Torrio. In short, there are all the greatest American gangster of all time.
Curiosity ' The Atlantic City of the 20s was recreated on a set in Brooklyn (New York), and it is said that Martin Scorsese was so maniacal in particular, that the benches have the same size as the original in 1920.

Gullivers Travel, dove interpreta il ruolo di Lemuel Gulliver, scrittore, che recandosi alle Bermuda finisce sull'isola di Lilliput. Il film e' in uscita il 22 dicembre (USA) nel vecchio continente sbarchera non prima della seconda meta di gennaio.Il secondo grosso titolo e' Kung Fu Panda 2, dove Jack Black ridara la sua voce alle nuove avventure di Po (il Panda). Purtroppo il cartone animato successo del 2008, non uscira prima di maggio 2011.

Dopo il meritato successo nel 2008 del film Batman: The Dark Knight, ecco il nuovo film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises previsto per luglio 2012. Il regista e' Chritopher Nolan che ha girato gli ultimi due Batman e il film evento dell'anno Inception. Si conoscono invece solo pochi nomi degli attori che faranno parte del cast, ovvero Christian Bale, Michael Cain e Gary Oldman. Ne la trama ne il cattivo di turno sono ancora noti.
After the deserved success in 2008 Batman: The Dark Knight, this is the new film, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises expected by July 2012. The director is still Christopher Nolan who filmed the last two Batman movies and Inception movie event of this year. There is little known about the names of the actors who will be part of the cast, Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Gary Oldman, are the three that are known. Neither the plot nor the villain is yet unknown.
A volte accade che i registi si scelgano un attore con il quale poi lavorano per sempre, o almeno fino a quando il binomio funziona. Cosi come per Scorsese e Di Caprio, ecco un altro duetto fisso di Hollywood, Danzel Washington e Tony Scott. I due insieme negli ultimi cinque anni, hanno girato film di sostanza e qualita' come: Man on Fire, Pelham 123, Deja Vu' e altri.
L'ultimo film di Danzel Washington, Book of Eli, mi ha lasciato un po, come dire, con l'amaro in bocca. Non so non aveva quella certa ˝cosa˝ che ti fa dire: ˝Cavolo questo si che era un buon film˝. E quindi ecco che Denzel Washington ritorna a girare film con Tony Scott, l'ultimo loro lavoro porta il titolo Unstoppable. Il film ispirato a fatti realmente accaduti, parla di un treno che viaggia alla massima velocita' senza conducente, e di due maccinisti Frank (D. Washington) e Will (Chris Pine, che conosciamo dall' ruolo che ha interpretato nell'ultimo Star Trek, ovvero il capitano Kirk), che cercano di fermare il treno in questione. Per movimentare ulteriormente la storia, uno dei vagoni e pieno di sostanze tossiche, mentre un altro vagone ha 127 bambini a bordo. Cosi proprio per non farlo diventare un film monotono.
Da quello che si e' potuto intravvedere dal trailer, il film e' un tipico prodotto di Tony Scott cioe', un film pieno di azione e di attimi di suspance. La fotografia e' anche tipica dei film di T. Scott, toni scuri e forti contrasti degli oggetti con la natura che gli circonda, per poter cosi concentare l'attenzione sulla trama del film.
Per quanto mi riguarda non vedo l'ora di poter vedere questo film.
Sometimes it happens that directors choose an actor with whom he works forever, or at least until the pairing works. As with Scorsese and DiCaprio, here's another fixed Hollywood duet, Danzel Washington and Tony Scott. The two together, in the last five years, have made films of substance and quality 'such as: Man on Fire, Pelham 123, Deja Vu' and others.
Danzel Washington's latest film, Book of Eli, left me a bit, as it were, with a bitter taste. I don’t know, it doesn’t have that certain thing that makes you say: ˝ Wow that was a good movie ˝. So here is that Denzel Washington returns to filmmaking with Tony Scott, their last work is entitled Unstoppable. The film inspired by actual events, and tells of a train traveling at full speed 'without a driver and two train conductors Frank (D. Washington) and Will (Chris Pine, we know him from' the role he played in the last Star Trek, Captain Kirk), while they’re trying to stop the train in question. To further enliven the story, one of the cars full of toxic substances, while another car has 127 children on board. So in order not to make it a dull movie.
From what I saw in the the trailer, the movie is a typical product of Tony Scott, a film full of action and moments of suspense. The photography is also typical of T. Scott movies, dark tones and strong contrasts of objects with the nature that surrounds it, so to be able to focus your attention to the plot of the film.
