Who Framed Santa Claus? - Chi ha incastrato Babbo Natale?

From Scandinavia with love, this is the movie event of Christmas. Rather than those stupid Italian Christmas comedy movie. This year Ikea food for Christmas Eve.

The director and screenwriter of this flick is Jalmari Helander, and tell us the more well-guarded secrets of the world, where to find the Santa Claus hideout.

Il regista e sceneggiatore di questo film e' Jalmari Helander, e ci racconta il segreto  meglio custodito al mondo ovvero dove si trova il nascondiglio di Babbo Natale.

How the would world seem if the lawyers had the office in a car?

The Lincoln Lawyer is the story of Mickey Haller, played by Matthew McConaughey (Sahara, U-571),  a Los Angeles lawyer that takes care of  his business from the rear seat of his Lincoln.
I like this story, no luxury offices but mafia-style car, to conduct his business. It seems more 'an episode of the Sopranos than a film about lawyers. But is also' true that often mobsters  and lawyers are the same thing.

The movie is directed by Brad Furman, which until now only had direct short flicks, and this is his first full movie and to tell the truth, it’s seems that he have done a good job. The cast is rich, other performers are:
Marisa Tomei (The Wrestler, What Women Want), John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet), William H. Macy (Jurrasic Park, Magnolia)

Come sembrerebbe il mondo se gli avvocati avessero l'ufficio nella propria macchina?

The Lincoln Lawyer e' la storia di Mickey Haller, interpretato da Matthew McConaughey (Sahara, U-571), avvocato di Los Angeles che conduce il proprio lavoro dal sedile della sua Lincoln.

Mi piace questa storia, niente uffici di lusso  ma una Lincoln stile mafioso, per condurre i propri affari. Sembra piu' una puntata dei Soprano che un film sugli avvocati. E' anche pero' vero che spesso e voletieri mafia e avvocati sono la stessa cosa.

Il film e' diretto da Brad Furman, che fino ad oggi a diretto solo cortometraggi, quindi e' al suo primo film e per dire la verita' sembra abbia fatto un buon lavoro. Il cast e bello ricco, altri interpreti sono:

Jake Gyllenhaal

After taking part in the romantic comedy Love & Other Drugs, Jake Gyllenhaal is performing in a movie a little bit more ˝engaged˝. The film is called Source Code and is currently in post-production, so we will see it in theaters on April 2011.

The film is promising, as far as you can see in the trailer (which also explains too much about the film, to be honest), Jake is a soldier who must live and relive a terrorist attack on a train, and must try to stop the terrorists. The other interpreters of the  movie are Vera Farmiga (The Departed) and Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible III, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang).

Note that the flick is directed by Duncan Jones, his second film as director. The first was the spectacular Moon, starring Kevin Spacey and Sam Rockwell.

Jake Gyllenhall & Duncan Jones

Dopo aver partecipato nella commedia romantica Love & Other Drugs, ecco che Jake Gyllenhaal si cimenta con un film un po piu' impegnato. Il film si intitola Source Code, e attualmente e' in post-produzione, quindi lo possiamo aspettare per meta' di aprile 2011.

Il film promette bene, da quanto si puo' vedere nel trailer (che per dire la verita spiega anche troppo del film), Jake e' un militare che deve vivere e rivivere un attentato terroristico in un treno, e deve cercare di fermare i colpevoli dell'attentato. Gli atri interpreti della pellicola sono Vera Farmiga (The Departed) e Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible III, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang).

Da notare che il film e' diretto da Duncan Jones, secondo film da regista. Il primo e' stato lo spettacolare Moon, con Kevin Spacey e Sam Rockwell .
